Mansfield ISD deserves leaders who listen, lead with integrity, and consistently show up for our schools.
Ana-Alicia Horn embodies these qualities.

As a longtime MISD parent and dedicated volunteer, Ana has spent years engaging with our schools, building relationships with families, and advocating for the resources every child deserves. Her commitment to public education is evident in both her personal and professional life.

Ana’s leadership is grounded in experience and purpose:

  • Executive Leadership: Serves as Director of Strategic Development at Brushfire Technology managing customer facing teams.
  • Nonprofit Governance: Former Program Director and current Board Member for a local women's shelter, demonstrating her commitment to community service.
  • Educational Advocacy: Active member of the MISD School Health Advisory Council, focusing on student well-being and health initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: Years of volunteer service in MISD schools and PTA leadership roles, emphasizing transparency and collaboration.

Ana is running for Place 4 against an incumbent who endorsed State Rep. David Cook, the co-author of Senate Bill 2 (Education Savings Accounts), which will redirect $1 billion of public education dollars into private school vouchers. Despite claiming to support public schools, that endorsement tells a different story.

Ana believes public schools are worth fighting for. That MISD is worth fighting for.

"When we prioritize every student’s academic, social, and emotional needs, we build a stronger district and a stronger future for Mansfield."

She’s running because she knows the positive impact when families, educators, and schools work together, and the consequences when leadership fails to act in critical moments.

Ana Horn will show up, speak out, and stand firm for all MISD students
